Dressmaker Ruixian and relief printing artist John share how they take the leap of faith and why they couldn't have launched their businesses without their previous experience working as full-time employees.
Ruixian Hu is a dressmaker and founder of Studio HHFZ, known for their handmade, modern-style cheongsams.
John Mathis is a relief print marker and founder of Tatsu Maker Works. He started out producing limited edition prints of this daughter’s imaginative stories. Currently he is working on a new series of prints focused around Singaporean food and hawker culture.
