What is it like to be the first #madeinsingapore #drama of any language, to film in Upstate New York, in old winter? How can we tell a story about a cult and make it relatable for a #suria audience?
For our pilot episode, we speak to TV Director, Muhd Mahfuz, the recent winner for Best Direction at the #PestaPerdana2021, about his series Kultus, the Pesta Perdana 2021 winner for Best Drama and winner of Best Original Screenplay (Singapore) - Asian Academy Awards 2019.
He joins us to reminisce about the exciting production in New York, his first TV job and his first job that had nothing to do with TV.
