Do you need to go to film school to become a successful filmmaker? Director OKJ shares why studying business helps him in his documentary career and how he crave a niche for himself with storytelling.
OKJ is a director and documentary storyteller, who is known for his works such as TRESPASS: STORIES FROM SINGAPORE’S THIEVES MARKET. He hopes to produce works that provide audiences with a sense of "being in the moments" and create empathetic connections to universal values featured.
He has just completed his 2nd short documentary of 2019. He
is nominated in the documentary category at the National Youth Film
Awards 2019 for his film, Trespass: Stories from Singapore’s
