What is it like to build a career in documentary filmmaking from Chicago? How can we tell a story about the Singaporean educational systems like Unteachable and make it relatable for an international audience? For our pilot episode, we speak to Shuling Yong, a Chicago-based award-winning documentary filmmaker, DP and Location Sound Recordist with a passion for social change. Her most recent film Unteachable was the Audience Award winner at the 2019 edition of the Singapore International Film Festival.
